Limited edition printed in 350 copies signed by the author. This is copy no. 322. A very good copy. First edition. After a career in the army, Henry Jones (1838-1921) returned to Welling, near Woolwich, in 1881 and seems to have become a habitué of the bird room at the British Museum of Natural History in Kensington. He bequeathed his sketchbooks to the Zoological Society of London.
