Rare notice promulgated by the government of the Cisalpine Republic related to the raising of a granite column and to the coinage of twenty-four gold medals to celebrate Napoleon's victory at Marengo (June 14, 1800). The ban was printed and widespread on the entire territory of the Republic to invite architects and sculptors to present new projects. The winner would have obtained as a prize a gold medal of the value of fifty zecchini. The column apparently was never built.
