Manuscript letter, dated Parma, 12 June 1511

295x230 mm. Embossed seal with the Este arms. Signed by the secretary of Ippolito d'Este, Tommaso Fusco, who was also one of his teachers. Traces of folding, paper losses and scattered damp stains.

This is a letter addressed to two Florentine citizens, Clemente and Giovanni de Nocelinis, in which the cardinal thanks them for the goods worth three hundred and forty ducats delivered to his agent Goro Gorini. Ippolito hereby undertakes to pay the agreed sum within one year from the day of delivery, which took place on 15 May 1511.
